The International Workshop on Harbour, Maritime and Multimodal Logistics Modelling & Simulation (HMS 2003) 2003
Jurijs Merkurjevs, Oksana Kuzņecova, John Sedej

This paper describes SimFlex, a dynamic supply chain simulation and analysis tool for strategic and tactical planning of logistics networks. The paper covers the main SimFlex features that represent mentioned software as an effective tool for teaching logistics. A case “Supply Chain Network Analysis: Comparing of Alternative Scenarios” created by RTU Department of Modelling and Simulation is presented as an example of such teaching.
