Transport junction is complex system where occur multimodal transportation processes and different kinds of transport interaction. Solving defined tasks using analytic way, imitation cannot be fully ensured. Development of imitation modeling system is necessary to observe service quality within export-import cargo shipment at transport junction. Observing one of decomposing elements of Free Port of Riga – coal terminal, processes were investigated and processes’ imitation was performed to depict functional objectives.
