An x-ray digital imaging technology makes possible to achieve an evaluation of x-ray image quality by using digital data array. Brightness histograms were constructed and then examined in order to establish a variance and an average for each histogram. A variance and an average of the rightness statistics correlated to a voltage applied independence on the tested x-ray machine and CR system used. The achieved results demonstrate that image brightness digitalization could be in use for quality assessment of digital x-ray imaging.
