The precision of medical diagnostics is an actual theme in any medical field. Many programs are developed in order to help the physicians acquire the data about the patients and formulate a precise and fast diagnosis. In this work several methods are proposed for acquiring data from computer tomography images with a goal to analyze it and diagnose the patient based on the acquired information. This work is focused on pathology zone and its material detection, and pathology zone environment detection. Two methods are proposed for automatic pathology zone detection and its environment detection. Both methods were tested on computer tomography images. As a result, data about the pathology zone and its environment were acquired. The obtained data can be compared to pathology characteristics and this could help diagnose the patient.
