Adaptive E-Learning Courses at Riga Technical University Software Engineering Department

The paper describes the e-learning systems that were developed at Riga Technical University (RTU). The e-courses created at RTU Department of Software Engineering (DSE) are outlined. The main characteristics of these e-courses are shown. Learning objects of DAS system and their metadata is defined. Adaptive teaching algorithm is demonstrated. The results of using DAS and ORTUS e-learning systems at RTU DSE are reviewed.
