The problem of low repetition rate (Hz) laser pulse parameter measurements is discussed. The solution is presented in the form of a sensitive average power meter (AMP) The results of the pulse temporal and spectral width measurements of YAG:Nd3+ picosecond laser system with the aid of AMP are reported.
