The Multifunction Terminal of Relay Protection and Anti-Emergency Automation

The terminal is intended for protection and anti-emergency automation of high voltage electric power units. Two 16-bit signal processors and 16-bit analog-digital converter are used in arrangement. In arrangement on the basis of the terminal the complexes af relay protection and automation of high-voltage transmission lines are realized. Arrangement fulfill many function: distance protection against all fault types, longitudinal differential as well current protection, emergency event recording, fault location etc. The terminal is able to share information via optic-fiber communication channels and can be connected to personal computers through public telephone channels.
