Implementation of Closed Current Loop Regulator Using MSP430

In order to control electric kart DC motor and protect power converter from dangerous overcurrents, a regulator is needed. MSP430 series microcontroller was used to develop a closed loop current regulator. The implemented control method is PI regulator. Step-response experiments were carried out to evaluate regulator performance.
