The paper presents research results of IEEE 802.15.4 based networks. The aim of the research was to determine industrial area conditions which could affect wireless network timing and quality characteristics. Environmental conditions and tests setup were chosen to match scenarios of potential wireless transfer problems, which were described in scientific papers and journals. To recreate conditions of problematic scenarios the experiments were held in special test hall. Equipment placed in the test hall gave ability to create specific non line of site conditions, to move the node with predefined speed, create specific temperature and humidity conditions and to measure network characteristics. The test suite contains nine experiments divided in two groups. First group experiments were aimed on environmental conditions research. Second group experiments were dealing with mobile node. Unexpected results were obtained from electromagnetic noise generation test, since noise could reach 5GHz frequency. Also mobile node tests proved that there is no difference in node moving speed in range less than five meters per second. Experiments results could be used for wireless network setup in industrial conditions and also for future detailed tests of specific conditions. Along with experiment results paper presents approach for statistical data visualization and analysis. For this purposes the template based on R package were created. The template provides possibility to make fast data analysis even for inexperienced user. By the default template is configured to use as input files .csv(comma-separated values) format data files. Template is ready to create linear plots, histograms, summary graph and summary table in .csv format. Template contains a lot of features that would help user getting fast data statistical analysis and also tuning plot visual look in custom fashion.
