In this booklet as well as in other materials of the EEA project addresses issues of sustainable education development strategy in Norway and in Latvia. Latvia hasn’t restored its independence when Norway in UN framework worked on sustainable conception development, which became very popular in other countries. In two world summits Rio de Janeiro (year1992) and Johannesburg (year2002) it has been approved as action program for all countries in the world. In the Norway the sustainable development lessons became the cornerstone of the national politics, integrated in legislation and international cooperation and it was introduced in all level programs. The sustainable development principles in Norway are realized in economic, environmental protection and in social issue sector. In Latvia sustainable development is not a part of politics. In the EEA project methodological materials can find examples, which show that also in Latvia it is possible to see an effort of realization sustainable development principles realization in life.
