The aim of this article is to explore the current situation in the Baltic Sea coast, the information billboard and indications of the natural diversity and cultural tourism sector. Poll the respondents to find out public opinion on the need to change anything. It is displayed with the help of diagrams. Consideration is given to examples of global environmental object, analyze of their compliance with the rules of good design and sustainable development. The key conclusion is that good design needs functionality. If it is difficult to see, then it's just art, and for today it's not that important. In the framework of this work was developed general guidelines for environmental objects that fulfill the billboard and the references functions in the Baltic Sea coast, whose accent is on local quality of life building - demonstrating the need for lifelong learning.
