Simulation and Optimization of Service System of the Container Terminal

In work the analysis the basic principles of simulation and optimization of container terminal services. Proposed decisions of problems which are offered arise at management of the container terminal (for example, distribution of places, scheduling of reloading mechanisms, strategy of storage and transfer operation). Modeling of processes of formation of sendings in the conditions of the container terminal is made. Parameters of streams and their characteristic (initial and final points, way geometry, length of a way, speed and movement time, intensity of deliveries and others) are considered. Conditions when probably to provide transportation of a certain part of containers under constant schedules are defined. Receptions on improvement of degree of service and increase of economic efficiency of functioning of the terminal are generalized. Indicators of optimization of cargo streams of the transport terminal are considered. Generalized techniques to improve the degree of care and improve the economic efficiency of the operation of the terminal. The given work allows to define in what kind mutually concerned logistical systems of a recoupment and steadiness of material volumes of entering and proceeding streams (by separate kinds of cargoes, cargo units, for system as a whole or for its separate sites and elements) during the certain period of time.
