A Problem of Arrangement of Service Stations on the Given Territory

A number of vital practical problems require the description of an arrangement of service stations on the considered territory. The problem of the analytical description of the available data on population allocation on the territory of Latvia is examined. The elaborated algorithm of the problem solution is based on the gradient method. The considered numerical examples show its efficiency. The author intends to apply the suggested approach to solving the practical arrangement problems.
