Introduction. There are often no easy answers to environmental and sustainable challenges in the way to sustainable development. Aim. The aim of paper is introduction with divergence and convergence in the way to sustainable development and highlights how is novel insights provide new solutions. Materials and methods of the work. The paper also describes its distinctive methodology and innovation. The significant and increasing problems are grouped into four headings – ecological/ economical, intellectual, political and moral. Main results. The paper introduces the new Green Economics discipline and range of knowledge than other schools of economics. Conclusions. The article includes a brief critique of conventional environmental economics and distinguishing that approach from the approach of Entrepreneurship and Business role in the way to sustainable economic growth.
