Elimination of Load Nodes of Power System with Dynamic Characteristics

This paper describes new analytical approach for the reduction of electric power system. This methodology allows eliminating load nodes of power system taking into consideration the time dependence of active and reactive power of load at the specific changes of voltage and frequency. This method is based on Jordan’s elimination. The given methodology can be applied for large power network reduction as well as for acquire an equivalent aggregate load model. Simulation results show that the steady state and transient process of obtained reduction model will completely describe the behavior of the initial one. All the simulations of case studies were performed by using Eurostag software.
