On the Possibility of Rare Attractors in Scalar Field Cosmology

A closed FRW cosmological model with a scalar field is studied. Bifurcation analysis was performed using the “energy” of the system, first integral of motion, as bifurcation parameter. The method of complete bifurcation group was used for bifurcation analysis. We have found several parameter regions with possible chaotic or chaotic transient behavior and one of these regions is due to existence of rare attractor.
