Latvian Pension Funds: Multi-Criteria Analysis and Consumer Assessment

This article describes the task of multi-criteria analysis of pension funds of Latvian republic, determines the main features of this task and gives grounds for the feasibility of using Multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). The fields of using multi-criteria decision analysis in business are reviewed. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach in the studies of Latvian and Lithuanian researchers is reviewed as well.The study investigates the age portrait of fund members and possible economic motivation of pension funds choice from consumers’ point of view. Multi-criteria analysis of pension funds is conducted by using criteria, employed in creating rating funds based only on public information.
