Two options for graft substitutes are used: (i) hydroxyapatite (HAp) alone, HAp loaded with mesenchymal cells for replacement of lost bone tissue in maxillofacial and orthopedic surgery. Hystomorphological evaluation of connecting tissue around HAp and HAp with mesenchymal cells was used. Six month post implantations, samples were collected and histological protocol using staining with hem/eoz and Machson trichrome was performed. Two layer capsule formation was observed around HAp tablets loaded with cells more intensive as in HAp alone samples.
