Titanium oxide is one of the most important inorganic products in chemical industry. It is widely used in various fields - in photocatalysis, biomaterials, self-cleaning elements and in electronics. Chemical stability, non-toxicity, ease of availability and relatively low price are significant advantages for its introduction into industry. The electrical properties of nonstoichiometric compounds (TiO2-x) appearing after reduction differ from those of stoichiometric TiO2.In this work the densities and microstructure of extruded samples (bars) and the influence of these parameters on electrical properties was investigated.
