A variable moment of inertia rotor system for dynamics and diagnostic research were developed the original variable moment of inertia rotary mechatronic system stand. The research aim was to determine experimentally absolute displacements of the shaft start, stop and at resonance. Following the experimental studies, the Y axis and X axis shaft displacement amplitude is variable, Y-axis direction displacement is — 200 mm higher, than X - axis. The rotor shaft displacements of the system is directly proportional to the number of revolutions of the shaft. Increase in revs, increasing the shafts of the rotor system displacements.
