Nowadays, the necessity to promote the acquisition of intellectual, scientific and technological principles must be stressed in universities, not the acquisition of narrow knowledge in some specific field. The goals of universities broaden and there is a greater variety of them: to prepare competent specialists, create equal opportunities in receiving education for the most segments of the population, create new knowledge in high quality researches, promote the development of economics and etc. To ensure a good quality study process, knowledge, skills and competences that will be provided by acquiring the corresponding subject must be acknowledged, as well as their usefulness in the assessment of the employer. The quality of the students’ competences is not dependant only on the amount of knowledge in some subject, but also on the acquired ability and skill to solve problems independently.
