Physical and Technical Energy Problems: Testing of the Prototype for State Estimation of Large-Scale Power Systems

This paper is focused on distributed state estimation algorithm description, testing and validation. For testing and validation of the algorithms, different scenarios of the modelled power system of 330750 kV electrical ring Latvia-Lithuania-Belorus-Smolensk-Moscow-St.Petersburg-Estonia-Latvia were used. The methodology of prototype testing of Inter-TSO state estimation and dynamic network monitoring and modelling is based on comparison of available SCADA data about real events with SE calculation data. In total, four operational states were considered, including initial, accident and post-accident operational states.
