This book can be regarded as a compendium and it is intended as basic for students of electric branches. This is the first part of all the compendium and the other two parts will follow, namely, transient processes of the electrical drives; and automation of electrical drives. The explained material is based on the previous knowledge of students in electrical machines, power electronics and mechanics.
