Osteoporosis is a disease of bones that leads to an increased risk of fracture. This paper proposes a method of analyzing medical images, which were acquired by computer tomography to determine the treatment effectiveness of osteoporosis. The proposed method is used to extract the regions of interest in the bone and measure the changes in bone density over a period of time.
