Oil Pollution Monitoring of Sea Aquatorium Features with Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Transport Means 2014: Proceedings of the 18th International Conference 2014
Aleksandrs Urbahs, V. Zavtkevics

The objective is to analysis of oil pollution monitoring in sea using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). Authors are using analysis of existing ecological oil pollution monitoring methodology – satellite, manned aircraft and ships surveillance. Recommendations for implementations of sensors and payloads are proposed in paper. Different types of UAV’s and necessity of minimizing UAV’s operator workload design deployments algorithms for dedicated tasks of mission had been defined during analysis of implementation of UAV’s for oil pollution monitoring.
