Photocatalysis is a catalytic process used for photo-decomposition of pollutant substances in the water or air [1]. In spite of large number of research works related to photocatalysts, the investigations devoted to the alternative materials and synthesis or modification techniques of existing materials which can provide visible light active, efficient and recyclable photocatalysts involving simple processing steps are important. In the present study, anatase TiO2 is coupled with various spinel ferrites. Different types of heterojunctions were made and their photocatalytic activities were tested under visible light irradiation and compared with that of pure TiO2.
