Construction is one area of human activity, where active and effective use of different types of materials is crucial, including a
wide range of residual materials for new composite material development. In the current paper, a composite material based on
combination of polymer and perforated steel waste materials is proposed. Comprehensive information about the raw material, its
mechanical properties and geometrical shapes of perforated tapes obtained as industrial residues are shown. Examples of multilayered composite material based on perforated steel band reinforced polymer and its applications are proposed.
