The phase center variation and the mean phase center of the GNSS antenna can be determined in the robot calibration. We have studied how well the offset values are valid in the field and the consistency between two sets of antennas of different type. The offset values of the individual absolute calibration were not consistent between the two antenna types tested in Metsähovi. There seems to be biases which propagate to the coordinate results. Changing the antenna type in a permanent station may cause cm level jump in time series due to the errors in the offset values even if the individual absolute calibration tables are applied in data processing.
