Bone tissue engineering using biphasic calcium phosphate bioceramics as scaffold saturated by autologous mesenchymal cells in autologous enviroinement of host living organism as bioreactor is one challenge for substitution of autologous bone grafting. The fate of transplanted mesenchymal cells is discused between new bone formation and early death with release of some osteotrophic growth factors and mediators for cell recruitments remains unknown.
