Common Node Circular Current Examination in Shared DC Bus Power System
13th International Symposium "Topical Problems in the Field of Electrical and Power Engineering. Doctoral School of Energy and Geotechnology II" 2013
Armands Šenfelds, Ivars Raņķis

in this paper interconnection of two diode rectifier units is considered in context of potential DC bus interconnection situation as an example of distributed power system based on DC link coupling. Specific circular current flow in case of single pole coupling of separate DC Buses is examined resulting in fixed connection at common node. Influence of unbalanced loading of involved DC bus parts has been explained and results obtained by means of numerical simulations.
