This paper concerns to the research project where experimental 600VDC microgrid that simulates
industrial assembly line is built. The purpose of the project is to improve efficiency of manufacturing
robotic assembly line and to integrate alternative energy sources. As there is hard to find on the market
DC/DC MPPT converter that could be tied to 600VDC microgrid, this paper describes the design of
such MPPT DC/DC converter and it main challenges like efficiency. Simulation and experimental
results are given in the paper.
