Estimation of Combat Sleeping Bag System of Latvian National Armed Forces

Combat Individual Protection System should protect against natural and artificial threat. Survival of soldier and retaining of work capacity in cold climates condition is dependent of equipment and apparel thermal protection characteristics. Target of research was to obtain thermo-insulation of the closing ensemble with the manikin stationary and extreme temperature of usage. Final result was checked against climatic categories defined in document NATO AECTP-230 “Climatic conditions” .
