The article analyzes the trend of "green building" in Latvia. The advantages of "green" economic growth in terms of consumer benefits of population using these facilities: the comfort of living of the population, the savings on utility bills, the possibility of using renewable energy sources and energy-saving primary natural resources, sustainable development of the territory.
