One of the key moments that characterize both the processes of reorganization of the higher education model of education and the need for such are the processes of globalization affecting almost all aspects of modern life and the informatization of the educational process associated with the rapid development of innovative computer technologies. At the same time, the main goal of the information educational environment of the university (IEE) should be to ensure the transition of education to a new level of quality, i.е., in a state corresponding to the development of the information society and the need of the information society in specialists of the appropriate skill level. Currently, there is an active search for new forms and methods of teaching, which makes it possible to talk about the transition of education from a directive model to an interactive one, more productive and personality-oriented of the learner. The article deals with the possibilities of using innovative teaching methods in preparing students of a technical university. Also, advantages and disadvantages of traditional and innovative teaching methods are described, through the development, application and implementation of innovative technologies.
