The technical and economic problems and legal restrictions arising during the formation of joint transport area (common transport space), their impact on the volume of transportation work and quality indicators of the transportation process, on the competitiveness of companies participating in the process, on the effect and its distribution among the participants of transport corridors are analyzed in the paper.
