Bric-a-brac of Creative Computing: Studying Fractal Shapes with form•Z
Digital Intentions, Explorations, and Accidents : 2006-2007 form•Z Joint Study Journal. Partnerships in Learning 15 2008
Modris Dobelis, Dmitrij Averyanov, Vladimir Katz

A novel approach is suggested for 3D fractal visualization using commercial CAD software and specially written plug-in modules. The method to calculate the 3D fractals using quaternion numbers is described. The algorithm of raw data feeding to form▪Z software input and the filtering of the resulting data is described. Some examples final 3D fractal shapes are presented. A speculation of outcomes is made with respect to modern theoretical physics and contemporary cosmology problems.
