FractalZ – Non-traditional Way of FormZ Application
FormZ Joint Study Program Report 2006-07. Partnership in Learning, Vol.15. e-publication on DVD 2007

In the past year the students taking elective course, Computer Aided Architectural Design at Riga Technical University, were not quite interested in a self-supporting study of formZ. There was one overview lecture in the course dedicated to formZ in which the previous year students participating in the formZ Joint Study Program 2005-2006 presented the details of their projects and shared their tips and tricks about getting started with the software. The projects completed with formZ during the course were not compulsory, but the students could earn additional bonuses for a final grade if they used it. The only enthusiastic individual found common interest with a friend studying mathematics in another university and they made some study on fractals. In my course, fractals were only mentioned in regards to the types of computer graphics. Since this is not an area for architects, a few examples were shown and further links given. This and the lecture on formZ was the only kick-off for the study report prepared this year.
