The solid phase of bone cement composite has been modified to improve handling properties of earlier developed acrylic bone cement having tridimensional polymer structure. PMMA beads were blended with definite amount of P(MMA-hexyl acrylate ) copolymer, which provided the demanded level of viscosity of polymerized mixture and did not arise polymerisation peak temperature essential increase and setting time decrease. The morphology of solid phase influenced polymerisation peak temperature and adsorption of fuschin. The physicochemical aspects of detrimental formation of holes in acrylic bone cements have been discussed. The results obtained give opportunity to optimize structure of bone cement composites.
