This paper discribes LORD - the dynamic supply chain simulation and analysis tool for strategic and tactical planning of supply chains or logistics networks. The paper does not cover in detail all LORD features but discribes main of them which represent LORD as a good tool for supply chain simulation and analysis and as an efective tool for studing supply chain management. A short description of exercise “Location”created by RTU Department of Modelling and Simulation is presented in this paper as an example of such studing.
