Effect of Mix Proportions and Curing Regimes on Ultra High Performance Concrete
8th FIB International Symposium in Civil Engineering: Proceedings 2010
Jānis Justs, Genādijs Šahmenko

This paper analyses results of practical study on producing ultra high performance concrete with target strength over 200 MPa. Authors consider effects caused by mix proportions and granulometric composition performing laboratory tests with different mixes of ultra high performance concrete using micro and nano silica. Testing samples have been cured under different temperature conditions ranging from +20oC to +220oC. As a result samples with compressive strength varying from 118 MPa to over 200 MPa have been produced. Authors draw conclusions that significant strength development can be reached curing samples at 220oC temperature. Long-term compressive strength development is also investigated in this research.
