Hypothesis of Ca(OH)2 and H3PO4 Reaction Mechanism on Solid Particle Surface
International Forum of Young Researchers "Topical Issues of Subsoil Usage" 2011
Līga Bērziņa-Cimdiņa, Iljo Dreijers, Imants Kreicbergs

The growing demand for Nano-sized Hydroxyapatite (HAp) as implant material lead to necessary scale up HAp synthesis. Illumination of all possible problems of large scale synthesis reduced to investigations of the reaction mechanism. The aim of this work is show the hypothetical phosphoric acid reaction mechanism on the solid particle surface of the calcium hydroxide.
