PhD dissertation consists of 4 main chapters. The dissertation begins with literature review (the first chapter), where the need for conducting a study on the mechanical properties of non-homogenos and oriented FRC is justified. The second chapter describes research methods, materials and research setup. In the third chapter program of experiments was implemented with approbation of four different methods of fiber distribution and orientation. New fiber distribution and fiber orientation devices were approbated as well. Non-homogenous and oriented FRC was tested by analysing and comparing the results as well as conducting research of the mechanical properties. In the experiments layer geometry of the FRC specimens and percentage of fibers in the layers were changed (fibers with various geometries were used in the experiments). Four point bending test results of the FRC prisms were described. An experiment was conducted with the oriented FRC X-ray and image analysis. "Weak" zones of the FRC, appearing under the impact of vibrations, were determined. Two new methods of thin walled shell production with 2D fiber orientation were approbed; domed shell structures were created. New FRC shell reinforcement technology was approbed. In the fourth chapter numeric algorithm was created for estimating the load-bearing capacity in the cracking and crack opening stage of the homogenous FRC elements and FRC elements with fiber distribution; it has been proven that the numeric modelling describes well the load-bearing capacity of non-homogenous FRC in the cracking stage. Numeric modelling results successfully approximate the experimental data. The practical application of the model can be its use in design of the FRC building elements. Numeric modelling of the FRC shells was performed. Conclusions, annexes and reference list are included at the end of dissertation. The PhD dissertation is written in English, it consists of introduction, 4 chapters, conclusions, reference list, 13 tables, 245 images, 5 annexes; the total length of dissertation is 198 pages. 190 sources are included in the reference list.
