Methodical Aspects of Computer-Based Knowledge Control

The paper studies the problem, which concerns knowledge control organization in computer-based learning. A variety of existing computer-based learning systems causes necessity to pay attention to a qualified knowledge control realization’s task decision. Knowledge control problem can be researched taking into account various aspects: methodical, technical and law. Methodical aspects can be as follows: planning of knowledge control; learner knowledge and skills control tasks choosing; forming of control tasks set. Control goal is to define student’s background accordance to certain tutoring information obtaining level. Knowledge quality assessment on each phase (knowledge, skills) can be realized, using different tasks types and kinds. Control tasks choosing demands defining of what knowledge and skills will be controlled with certain task as well as determining the aim of including this task into a bank. Important methodical aspect is tasks set forming according to control kind and purpose. Paper considers four main approaches to tasks set constructing. Combined described methods using for control works and tasks set of different types forming allows to organize adaptive knowledge control at all teaching process stages, taking into account each learner characteristics.
