More and more companies all over the world use internationals Standard ISO 9001 as a guideline for establishing company’s quality management system. On 15 November 2008 new version of Standard ISO 9001 has been published. It is already known that there are no new requirements and there are no major changes in existing requirements are included in new version of Standard ISO 9001. However due to the wide application of the Standard in different industries, every company, operating their quality management system according to ISO 9001, shall review it’ s quality management system in order to ensure conformity to new Standard. The most important adjustments (more precise explanations) are made concerning terms „product” and „regulatory requirements”, evaluation of effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, control of outsourced processes, appointment of management representative. Textual emendations have been made in many requirements, but those do not influence existing quality managemnt systems, but rather help better uderstand requirements beyond.
