Rubber-Metal Elements Rigidity at Compression in View of Weak Compressibility of Rubber
2008
Vladimirs Gonca, Viktors Gutakovskis

Here is discussed the method of getting the dependence of „ force – compression” for rubber – metal elements with taking in to the consideration the weak compression of rubber layer. The linear theory of weakly pressed materials is used. For example is used flat rectangular rubber – metal elements, where the elastomer layer connected with not elastomer layer with the help of vulcanization, the metal deformation can not take in to consideration for the dependence of „ force – compression” calculation for the rubber – metal element. For the task solution is used variation method with using the potential energy minimum principle. By using the functional we choose displacement function and hydrostatic pressure function and it is enough to accomplish only displacement function geometric border terms. The result dependences are recommended to use for designing the compensation products and for the Poisson`s ratio calculation.
