In this work calcium phosphates were synthesized by modified wet-chemical precipitation method using initial reagent unstoichiometric molar ratio . The aim of this work was to obtain desirable calcium phosphate phases such as hydroxyapatite or β-tricalcium phosphate and study the influence of wet chemical precipitation conditions such as temperature of synthesis (~22°C, 70°C), ending pH value of synthesis (7, 9, 10) and aging time (0 or 24 h) on calcium phosphate crystallinity and phase composition before and after thermal treatment - calcination. XRD was used to analyse crystallinity and phase composition. FTIR was used to determine the various functional groups. Morphology of synthesized calcium phosphates was studied with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The crystallinity of synthesis products increase with increasing the temperature of synthesis from 22ºC to 70º. Basic synthesis ending pH≥9 and elevated synthesis temperature TS=70ºC induce hydroxyapatite phase formation in synthesis product. Neutral ending pH=7 and synthesis temperature TS~22ºC increase secondary phase (such as β-TCP) formation in synthesized product. Aging time influences aggregation and crystal growth of synthesized calcium phosphates.
