This paper describes the approach aimed at supporting industrial enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in solving research and technological problems in their business sector of transport logistics services. The approach is focused on strengthening SMEs technological facilities and creating a win-win situation for the actors of the global transport logistics chain (shipping lines, container terminal operators, freight integrators, transportation brokers, etc) through the use of technology transfer model and innovative Internet-based information technology (IT) solutions.
