Development of new non-viral vectors as DNA or drug delivery systems has resulted in elaboration of various nanopharmaceutical applications. The new group of cationic 1,4-DHP derivatives as putative gene delivery agents with targeted variations of the substituents at the 1,4-DHP core have been designed and synthesized.
